Prospect St. Exterior
A 'before' photo of our Prospect St. exterior restoration

The completed Prospect St. exterior restoration project.
Substitute siding was removed and the original wood clapboards underneath were repaired. A new open front porch was added. Windows and trim were repaired as
necessary prior to applying new paint. This restored house was featured on the 1995 Historic Elgin House Tour.

North St. Exterior

The completed North St. exterior restoration project. Substitute siding was removed and the original wood clapboards underneath were repaired. Appropriate window trim, wood railings, and a new open porch were added prior to applying the new paint.

Orange St. Exterior

Liberty St. Exterior

Exterior work included repair of stucco, repair of windows and trim, replacement of the inappropriate front porch wrought iron railings and columns, and finish painting.

Spring St. Garage Exterior
Historic houses are not the only things that deserve exterior restoration as shown here in a 'before' photo of our Spring St. garage exterior restoration project. This circa 1920 garage was in a serious state of deterioration.

With framing repairs completed and the garage stabilized, it's time to make this circa 1920 building look pretty.

The completed project. Once a home to raccoons, this restored circa 1920 garage is now a gem. And to think there were some who thought it
should have been torn down - that would have been such a waste!
