The Big House Part 2

Year two of our exterior restoration on this 1872 mansion is underway in a joint effort between All Around Home Improvements and C & A Properties. Last year we started the restoration of the front facade which was finished early this year. During this year, 2018, we hope to complete restoration of the remaining three sides of this diamond-in-the-rough.

The City of Elgin's Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program continues to help fund the restoration project which, this year, includes repairs to the rear porch, bay window, siding, soffit, fascia, windows, and finish painting. We will keep updating this album as we complete work, so please stay tuned!
