The Big House Part 1

This circa 1880 mansion gets started on a well-needed exterior restoration in a joint effort between All Around Home Improvements and C & A Properties.

The City of Elgin's Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program will help get the front facade of this mansion restored this year including front porch, siding, soffit, fascia, windows, and painting. Hopefully another grant next year will help complete the other remaining sides of this diamond-in-the-rough.
